In April 2025, Birch Hill Construction acquired M&M Resources. Birch Hill Construction will continue operating with the same experienced team, providing dependable asphalt paving, transportation, and construction services across Prince Edward Island.

 

Originally founded as M&M Trucking in Village Green, PEI in 1973, the company began with two dump trucks and a single payloader and has grown into a trusted name in the PEI asphalt paving, transportation, and construction industries.

 

With our certified asphalt production plant located in Mt. Albion, we efficiently service the residential, commercial, and road-building asphalt industries throughout Kings and Queens Counties, PEI.

 

Our construction division provides excavation and site work to support our paving operations. During the winter months, our modern fleet and dedicated employees provide snow removal and sanding services in Stratford and Southeastern PEI.

2023 - A MILESTONE YEAR

M&M Resources is proud to boast that we have been in business for 50 years!  Since being founded as M&M Trucking in 1973 by Reg & Caryl MacPherson and Allie & Norma Murray, M&M has become a well recognized name in the local trucking and construction industry on PEI.  The company has evolved over the years from M&M Trucking to the addition of a sister company, M&M Lime Spreading to M&M Resources in 2006 when the company was purchased by Reg Trainor.
